Twitter Code

Originally, we wanted to keep the twitter display the same. This was until recently where we changed our minds about the instagram display. As we wanted it on the same sketch and projection, we decided to put the tweets in the centre with the images in the grid around it.

To do this, I created a black rectangle and positioned it in the centre, lined up with the grid. This was done with simple code for a rectangle in the draw. It had to go after the instagram draw, but before the tweets so that it would be drawn in the correct order. We found the centre by trial and error of the positions, we tried to use CENTER, CENTER but it did not work even after we had declared the TextAlign, so it was easier to find the points ourselves.

After creating the rectangle we still had to change the position of the tweets to match the rectangle, we put similar points in but a bit less on each side so there was space between the tweets and the edge of the rectangle.

We also had to change the size of the text as it was too small, we did this by simply writing textSize

We still had the problem of the tweets fading so it was hard to read them one at a time. This issue was easily resolved by commenting out the background, and placing the rectangle behind the tweets.
